Intel Arc A750 Graphics Card

IntelAlchemistdesktop

Alchemist · 8 GB GDDR6

The Intel Arc A750 offered a more affordable entry into the Alchemist lineup with 28 Xe cores and 8GB of GDDR6 memory at $289. Positioned as a 1080p gaming GPU, it delivered performance comparable to the RTX 3060 and RX 6600 XT in optimized titles, though driver inconsistencies could lead to variable results across different games. The 225W TDP matched the Arc A770, which was notable given the lower performance tier. The 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer was standard for its price range and adequate for its 1080p target resolution. XeSS upscaling support provided welcome frame rate boosts in compatible games. Like its A770 sibling, the Arc A750 suffered from driver immaturity at launch, but Intel's ongoing improvements have substantially improved the experience. Ray tracing performance was competitive with AMD's budget offerings of the era. The Arc A750 served an important role in establishing Intel as a legitimate third player in the discrete GPU market. While the newer Arc B580 now offers better performance at a lower price, the A750 helped pave the way for Intel's improving GPU ambitions and driver development infrastructure.
