AMD Ryzen 5 7600X Processeur
Zen 4 · 6C/12T · AM5
The AMD Ryzen 5 7600X was the budget entry point to Zen 4 and AM5, offering 6 cores and 12 threads at $299 with competitive gaming performance that often matched or exceeded Intel's more expensive offerings. Its high boost clocks ensured strong single-threaded gaming performance, keeping frame rates close to the more expensive Ryzen 7 chips in the vast majority of titles. The 6 cores handle multitasking and light productivity well, though heavy multi-threaded workloads expose the core count limitation. AM5 platform features including DDR5 and PCIe 5.0 provide a modern foundation with upgrade paths to higher-end Zen 4 and Zen 5 processors. Power consumption was modest, making it easy to cool with affordable air coolers. Against Intel's Core i5-13600K at a similar price, the 7600X offered fewer cores but competitive gaming performance with lower power draw. At current reduced prices well below MSRP, the 7600X represents one of the most affordable ways to enter the AM5 ecosystem while still getting strong gaming performance. It's an excellent foundation for a gaming PC that can be upgraded later.
