The Intel Core i9-14900K is the ultimate expression of the Raptor Lake Refresh architecture, boasting 24 cores with 32 threads and an impressive 6.0GHz boost clock on LGA 1700. Its hybrid design combines 8 Performance cores with 16 Efficient cores to tackle any workload thrown at it. In multi-threaded productivity tasks, it trades blows with AMD's Ryzen 9 7950X while offering strong single-threaded performance for gaming. The 6.0GHz boost clock makes it one of the highest-clocking consumer CPUs ever produced. However, the 14900K is known for its aggressive power consumption, regularly drawing over 250W under sustained all-core loads, requiring a high-end cooling solution.
