Intel Core i5-13600K Procesador
Raptor Lake · 14C/20T · LGA 1700
The Intel Core i5-13600K established itself as one of the greatest value CPUs in recent memory, packing 14 cores with 20 threads and a 5.1GHz boost clock on LGA 1700 at $319. Its combination of 6 P-cores and 8 E-cores delivered gaming performance within spitting distance of processors costing twice as much. The unlocked multiplier allowed for meaningful overclocking headroom on Z690 and Z790 motherboards. Multi-threaded performance rivaled the previous generation's i9-12900K, demonstrating the rapid pace of improvement in Intel's hybrid architecture. Power consumption remained reasonable, manageable with a quality mid-range tower cooler. DDR4 compatibility via appropriate motherboards kept system costs low. Against AMD's Ryzen 5 7600X, the 13600K offered more cores and better multi-threaded performance at a comparable price. Gaming performance was virtually identical to the more expensive 13700K and 13900K in the vast majority of titles. The 13600K proved that you don't need to spend flagship money for flagship gaming performance, and at current discounted prices it remains an outstanding budget choice.
