Intel Core i9-13900K Prozessor
Raptor Lake · 24C/32T · LGA 1700
The Intel Core i9-13900K was the flagship of the original Raptor Lake generation, delivering 24 cores with 32 threads and a 5.8GHz boost clock on LGA 1700. At launch it claimed the single-threaded and multi-threaded performance crown, offering a significant uplift over the previous 12900K. The hybrid architecture with 8 P-cores and 16 E-cores excels in heavily threaded workloads like video encoding, 3D rendering, and compilation. Gaming performance was among the best at launch, though AMD's Ryzen 7 7800X3D later claimed the gaming crown with its V-Cache technology. Power consumption is aggressive, regularly exceeding 250W under sustained loads, requiring robust cooling solutions. The LGA 1700 platform offers both DDR4 and DDR5 support, giving builders flexibility. At $589, the 13900K has been largely superseded by the 14900K and Arrow Lake options, but it remains a powerful chip for those who already own compatible hardware. Its performance profile closely matches the 14900K in most real-world tasks, making a used or discounted 13900K an excellent value proposition.
